BBC to axe Folkwaves on Radio Derby

News just in that BBC in the East Midlands are axing their long-running and award winning folk programme Folkwaves on Radio Derby at the end of December, using similar arguments. This is another showed listened to nationally on the web. It may indicate that there's a wider BBC plot afoot to axe "minority/ specialist" music and that a bigger campaign may be in order.
